We are all so heartbroken over the loss of John! We have so many wonderful memories that we shared from just enjoying the Summer afternoons in the garden with the boys in the paddling pool, to Law and Jonโ€™s wonderful wedding day, and of course all of our amazing holidays abroad! We still canโ€™t believe that he is gone and we will always miss him at our family celebrations and holidays, and will of course always remember him wherever we go and whatever we do.

Jackson and Chester loved โ€˜Grandad Johnโ€™ and enjoyed playing with him in the garden and on holiday. Jackson in particular knew that John would always stick up for him as he would quite often tell us, โ€˜heโ€™s alright, just leave himโ€™ ๐Ÿ˜ Obviously, Jackson loved this and try his luck that little bit more!

It was clear for everybody to see that John adored all of the kiddies, especially his boys, Elijah and Lucas โค Iโ€™m sure he will continue to watch over them everyday and he would be so proud, as he will be of all of you and the efforts that you are going to, to make sure he is remembered in such a positive way.

Like everybody, we are so gutted that we canโ€™t be there to say our goodbyes on Wednesday, but we will be thinking of you all, and of course raising a glass to John.

We are here for all of you, and always will be. Love you all so much, Zara, Lee, Jackson and Chester xxx

We are so deeply saddened for your loss, and that, due to the current situation, we wonโ€™t be able to attend on Wednesday to say a final farewell to John.

He was a very well respected and talented gentleman and will be sorely missed by all that knew him. We will be thinking of you all on Wednesday - sleep tight John, God bless pal..

All our love,

Wendy & Malc xx

Jon, Law, Jo and Boys,
Sending you lots of love and support at this sad and difficult time! Although we canโ€™t be there to give John the send off that he deserves, we will definitely be there to celebrate his life and think about all of the happy memories that we shared, whilst raising money for a good cause in his name.

We have lots of fab memories of John from birthdays, house/garden parties and holidays! He was always at his happiest when he had a beer in his hand, the sun on his face and those that he loved around him. Whenever he arrived anywhere, he always made an effort to go around to everyone and say hello, shake their hand or give them a kiss and he loved spending time with the kiddies.

It was a huge shock for everyone to hear the sad news because John always seemed so fit and healthy. There will always be a noticeable piece of the family jigsaw missing from now on, but weโ€™re here for all of you and will keep talking to the boys about their Grandad John. Weโ€™re so proud of how you have focused your own upset and heartbreak into helping others, as your Dad would be too!

R.I.P. John - you are greatly missed by us all!!

Love you all lots!!

John, we only ever met during family events that we were invited too through my friendship with Zara. I have a wonderful memory of you enjoying many cuddles at Zaraโ€™s wedding with our eldest Molly. Myself and Dan enjoyed a wonderful afternoon at their wedding with you and have a beautiful, treasured photo of you with Molly in your arms. Sending lots of love and happy memories to heaven. May you rest in peace and hope that one day I will get to meet with you again. A lovely, kind gentleman who I will always remember in my heart xxxx
